TATA Nano’s Future in West Bengal

Tata Nano

Tata Nano

TATA Nano’s future in West Bengal is still very unclear after the recent threat against TATA motors. The main oppsing party – Trinamul Congress – led by Mamata Banerjee has been protesting against TATA’s land acquisitions for more than two years. There has been bloodshed, nasty politics, too many dramatic news.

Ratan Tata projected a release of $2500 USD NANO (Ebar Pujoy Chai NANO) during mid-august, but it has been delayed due to the protest at the Singur. The unsafe environment at Singur is creating more issues about the safety of the Tata Employees, investments, equipments etc. Tata will move out of West Bengal if we do not accept them. They will certainly find better place in other business-friendly states and make profit while creating thousands of jobs. Only future can prove the fruitfulness of the severe protest against TATA by Mamata and others.

Political parties are always too much involved in every aspect in Calcutta and around. Be it buying a land, getting a job or something else. The recent incidents with Tata Motors will remind other investor not to think about Calcutta. Well, Mamata Benerjee will start a “sit-in” protest from Sunday around the TATA factory!
