Very well written.
this shouldn’t be in the prose but in the arts section – the pictures are so vivid
if any1 want to know how to make her valentine happy, he/she has to follow da ways, beatifully narrated through da storyline above.
And here in India today we have the Ram Sena trying to play moral police by shutting down card shops and romantic rendezvouses, and the protesters sending them pink panties to demonstrate their defiance. Sigh! What’s happening to India?

A great article seeped in versatile language to show how one special day is becoming special with every passing year. Romance is now outdated, it is now a time of marketing stuff and celebrating what ever day comes your way.. Sangita I have always loved the intellectual perspective of your works and I think in this blog you have presented a realistic picture of a seemingly romantic world around with ease. The wit in the work makes it a more enjoyable read.I especially loved the ending line where you provide your sincere apology to the romantic bard of all times, Mrs. Browning. I reckon how she would react to this 21st century Robotic Love Age.
I hope to read more such wonderful articles from you in near future.

Good to c ur continued passion for writing, I read a poem of urs in the College magazine, didn’t enjoy though, as I could little understand the magic u played with words, were like the bouncers. I always thought the research fellows are a boring lot, I don’t mind changing my opinion. Scientists relating economy with love is amazing.

All the Valentines gifts and flowers and perfumes in the world together cannot achieve what she achieved with her “How do I love thee”. THAT’s the power of words, which we seldom see today.
