    May be in the back of my mind some of these stories read in the childhood were lurking but this is totally different. I joined Defence Research & Development Laboratory at Hyderabad in 1972 and our office was in that Manjil for the first one year – we used to call it ‘bhut bungla’. Even the fountain I mentioned was there. After so many years suddenly Manjil came to my mind in this story form.

    This story carries the smell of old love, old time in the old stone manjil. It also
    shows that love is eternal and moves through time and space. Avisarika is a wonderful piece. We want more such stories.
