beautiful writing. wonderful article to point out how some beautiful species are being wiped out just because of nonsense human entertainment.if this hings carry on we will soon find the cheetahs only on story books just like Tasmanian tigers.

Very informative, I always thought that the indian Cheetah referred to the leopards.

Hi Avik, I happened to read this article through one of my friends(Priyanka) and I liked it. This article is very knowledgeable and appreciate your knowledge of all the wildlife species and thanks for producing ur knowledge in articles to all the public. One suggestion is that it should not have been published in kids section as it is knowledgeable for all.
Now Iranian cheetahs will be coming to Kachchh region of Gujarat.
Where Gudkhars are there. Gudkhar is between Horse and Donkeys (not mule though). They are not pet animals or can be made pet.
