I am yet to read “Palki 9″ completely. But off hand I can say, the get-up is fabulous! It really enhances the contents!
The only small complaint I had from a friend is that the downloadable version is not incorporated in Palki 9. That is understandable. After all that decoration, the size may be prohibitive for a downloadable version. But in India there are many who have unreliable internet connection. They prefer one-time download over on-line reading, spanning over sessions.
I am also happy to be instrumental in coaxing two of my ex-Jadavpur University pals (Sugata Sanyal and Anjan Nath) into the Palki bandwagon. Well, whether that helped or not is for you to decide. But it was really amusing to note how eagerly these two (not exactly in their primes) were waiting for this Valentine’s day (for Palki 9)!
It is amazing what a set of good people can do. I never thought that I will write. The biggest achievement of PALKI and the Editorial Board is that it is of very high standard: all parts and contents, quality, get-up, editing, every thing. And most importantly, there is that magic which enthuses (credit to Editors and guru like Aniruddha Sen) and that has helped us to write. So this Valentine Day was fun, with fluttering heart, rapid heart-beat, all symptoms of love-sickness, for PALKI 9:-) Kudos to you all.

Palki-10, Monsoon issue, we are all eagerly waiting for it. Monsoon is getting over. There is some obvious issues which all Editorial Board is busy with, we would love to know when you are bringing it out. Such a beautiful creation, and for people like us who do not publish too much, Palki is an ideal literary vehicle. Will it be published in recent future? When? Sorry if it is a painful question, but we are definitely loyal to Palki and a minimum announcement is expected. Will you kindly announce? When?
Sorry if plain talking is BAD, but we are serious. You obviously are. Why don’t you announce the delay or whatever is the factual points. Please.
