iPhone is now available in India. The sexiest phone has finally stepping in the Indian soil. There are too much of craze about the iPhone already in India. Lets discuss few things.

First of all, the iPhone in India is priced heavily in India ranging from $700-$800. This price is almost too much for a middle class family earning about half or less than the pric eof the phone each month. So, the craze that we saw during the launch of iPhone in US, was not seen during the launch of iPhone in India. For most of the Indian People, phone is still a symbol of status and the rich people like Rajas and Maharajas, politicians, filmstars are buying iPhones.

Both Airtel and Vodafone launched iPhone on August 22, 2008.

  • Buy Apple phone from Vodafone or Airtel (official Apple partners) or you can order it on eBay or buy it unlocked from mobile shops in Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderbad, Mumbai, Chennai, etc. Try avoiding suspicious online sellers and contractors.
  • Will Indian iPhone work with the GSM SIM card of Airtel, Idea, BSNL or Vodafone?
